Currently several projects are in the works. Sometimes it's hard to keep up with them all! This space will be dedicated to providing updates on upcoming releases as well as whatever is in the pipeline. Currently Volume Two of the Shades of Night series, The Canyon Phantom, is being prepped for publication. Volume Three is nearing completion of a final edit and Volume Four is well underway. Also, Dixon Gas, the sequel to Raven Bend is up next for an extensive final revision. Expected release dates are included on the novels page.

Well, after much, work titles have been added to all but a few site images, mainly in the photo and art galleries. Splintered Blog 3 is up, following a messy photo shoot. Also two new images, the first of many to come have been posted in this section. Editing work on Shades of Night Volume 3, titled Misty Hills is entering its final weeks (hopefully). After that editing of The Empty Sepulchre will shift into high gear. Also, Volume 4 of Shades of Night is awaiting my full attention while the first set of short stories in supplemental shades is almost done. And Volume Two: The Canyon Phantom is off to copyright. As for the things on my to-do list...

Work continues on updating my nascent Youtube efforts, including many hours spent trying to read through my dense and cluttered blogs. The point is mainly to create an audio alternative to the printed text. In a couple of weeks I'll record my first art discussion video, where I'll give insight into my intaglio print "Tentacle Titan." Two new sections will soon be added to the website: a new poetry section, "Sound Bytes", featuring a growing collection of mini poems, as well as a new photo section where I'll upload alternative takes from the photo sessions for my Splintered Blog. Also, editing work for Shades of Night 3 has finally passed the 300 page mark and the first trio of short stories known as "supplemental shades" is complete. "...And Betty Makes Three" will be featured on the website sometime in late October or November. (Fingers crossed.)
A Splintered life
As a decades-long artist and writer I've collected quite a few visual and literary works, which I've decided to unleash using this site as my home base. I'll regularly add to the photography and art galleries, as well as provide updates on works-in-progress and links to sites where my full novels are available for sale. Each month I'll add a poem and a creative writing blog. I have plenty ideas for the future as well. At this time the artwork and photography are not for sale, though prints may be offered down the road. Also novels are available as e-books; paperback versions are in the works.
